Villa Finca in Tarbena

In the heart of the province of Alicante and nestled in the mountains lies Tàrbena. A small village with winding narrow streets, views and a number of natural water sources, many of these sources still work today and are used for drinking water. A walk through the village leads you along some sources and viewpoints. Tàrbena is surrounded by almond groves and there is a quiet authentic Spanish atmosphere. Between January and March the mountains around Tàrbena color white and pink because then the almond trees are full of flowers with blossoms.

The village perches high in the mountains, 560 metres above sea level. You can glimpse the Mediterranean and the coast line from here, with the tower blocks of Benidorm glistening in the distance, but few people realise that within 30 minutes’ drive from the coast you find yourself in a completely different world.

Although the village of Tàrbena with its 600 inhabitants is a small village, it is fully equipped. Tàrbena has a supermarket where you can go for daily groceries. As for gastronomy you are at the right place in Tàrbena. The village has a few bar – restaurants with different cuisines. Every Thursday there is a local market where, among other things, fresh vegetables from the region are sold.
